- In a large kadai heat 2 tsp butter, saute onion, ginger chopped, garlic cloves, 4 minutes. Now add tomato and cashew cook for 10 minutes till tomatoes turn soft.
- Cool completely and transfer to blender, blend to smooth paste.(Add water if required)
- In a kadai heat 2 tbsp butter and saute cumin seeds, cardamoms, bayleaf. Add prepared onion tomato paste saute well.
- Add turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, saute till oil separate from sides.
- Add 1/2 cup water, salt mix well cook 2-3 minutes.
- Add fresh cream mix well. Also add paneer cubes and mix gently.
- Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Further add coriender leaves, kasuri methi, mix well.
- Enjoy Paneer butter masala with roti or naan.
