Wheat Pizza

Hey everyone, it’s me, Dave, welcome to our recipe page. Today, I will show you a way to make a special dish, wheat pizza. It is one of my favorites. For mine, I’m gonna make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

A healthy whole wheat crust that comes out soft and chewy on the inside and crisp on the outside. Use with your favorite pizza toppings or pizza recipes. To improve the nutritional profile of pizza, use half whole-wheat and half all-purpose flour, which yields a light crust with a distinctive nutty taste. The wheat gives it good texture and its baked texture is like pizza should be, thick enough to hold toppings but not so thick as to be like eating pizza off sliced bread.

Whole Wheat Pizza Crust Nutty, hearty whole-grain flour makes great pizza. This thick crust features a touch of honey and a long overnight rise to bring out all the nuances of flavor. This quick pizza dough yields a crust of medium thickness that's crisp across the bottom and a little chewy in the middle. It has a lovely, yeasty flavor with just a hint of whole wheat.

Instructions to make Wheat Pizza:
  1. First mix well the pizza base ingredients apart from curd. Now add curd and Knead soft dough. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Now divide into two or three parts, depends how much thickness you want. (I like thin crust so I divided into three parts)
  3. Now roll it like chapati and prick this pizza base with the help of fork. In pan add salt in bottom and the stand and one plate, now preheat this and once it's hot grease and place pizza base on it.
  4. Cook for 10-12 minute on medium flame from one side. Follow same process for rest of the base. (Only one side you have to cook)
  5. Now first spared butter, then spread the pizza sauce, I added lil cheese and all veggies, jalapeno and herbs and chilli flakes and again cheese.
  6. I did topping on the cooked side, it's your choice you can do on any side.
  7. I used same pan with salted bottom to cook pizza. So cover and cook, once cheese is melted remove the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes so that it becomes crispy.
  8. Take it out, cut and enjoy your pizza!!!!

I love this dough so much that I shared it in my cookbook, Love Real Food. This tender, chewy dough is easy to make ahead and tastes like Neapolitan pizza.
