Steps to make Chole Bhature:
  1. For Chole:- Heat oil in a wok and add asafoetida and cumin seeds in it and allow it to crackle.

  3. Meanwhile, in a bowl, take curd, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chole masala, salt and mix it well.
  4. Now pour this mixture into the wok and mix it well.
  5. Then cover it with the lid and allow it to cook for 8-10 minutes on medium flame.
  6. Once this mixture is cooked properly add boiled chole/chickpeas in it and cook it well.
  7. Now add water in it as per your requirement and bring one boil in it. (Try to use the boiled chickpea water too)
  8. Then add garam masala powder and dried fenugreek leaves in it, mix it and again cover it with lid and cook it for another 5 minutes then switch off the flame.
  9. Chole is ready now, garnish it with coriander leaves.
  10. For Bhature:- In a bowl, take all purpose flour semolina, salt, sugar powder, a tablespoon of oil, baking powder, baking soda and mix it.
  11. Now add curd in it and make a soft dough of it and allow it to rest for 2 hours.
  12. Now cut pieces from the doughand make bhatoore of it with the help of rolling pin.
  13. Meanwhile, heat oil in a wok and deep fry bhature till it get nice golden colour.
  14. Your bhature is ready now.
  15. Serve chole bhature with pickle and chutney or either way.
