  1. Soak the black chana overnight.
  2. Boil the chana in pressure cooker in it add baking soda and salt as needed
  3. Boil for 40-45 minutes on high to low flame
  4. Now heat oil in kadai. add cumin seeds, asafoetida, salt, turmeric powder,red chilli powder in it.
  5. Now add boiled chana with water in it. And boiled on medium to low flame till the water soak. Add dry mango powder in between.
  6. Now black chana ready to serve with puri
