  1. Soak chickpeas overnight. - In a pan heat oil add jeera, black elaichi & cinnamon.
  2. Add coarsely grinded onion. Cook till light brown. - Add ginger garlic paste. Cook till oil seperates.
  3. Add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, jeera powder, amchur/ anardana & chopped green chillies
  4. Add soaked chana & green chilli. Pressure cook. - Add chopped coriander leaves check the seasoning & cook on low flame for sometime. - Serve with hot puris

The whole thing is called chole bhature and it delicious! I love the punjabi chole curry. The bhature (puri) are a bit of work to make from scratch, so I with cheat a bit to save time. Then heat it and check with a pinch of dough. Proceed as mentioned above and deep fry the poori.
