  14. Take as needed chaat masala and black salt
  15. Prepare as needed curry patta

Fried idlies are ideal lunch for kid's lunch box. For that, cut each steam cooked idli into four pieces. In a nonstick pan heat oil, add mustard seeds when seeds stop crackling add curry leaves. Add idlies and little bit of red chili powder.

  1. Take idli batter in a mixing bowl and add salt hing and eno 1t.spoon. divide in to 3 equal parts.
  2. Now in one part add haldi, 2nd part make ginger chilli paste and churn and add mix well. Now in 3rd part add tomato puree red chilli powder and mix properly.
  3. Put idli stand in a steamer and grease plate add batter one by one and steam 10 to 12 mins. Off the flame and remove idli.
  4. Now put oil in pan add mustard seeds hing curry patta chopped green chilli and pour in a curd mix well. add salt.
  5. Now take a curd in plate put idli make round cut in middle and stuff sev and pomegranate, drizzle jaggery chutney sprinkle chaat masala red chilli powder and black salt and serve
  6. Yummy delicious tricolour idli chaat is ready to serve.
