  6. Take 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

  10. Take 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  11. Make ready 3/4 tsp red chilli powder
  12. Make ready 1/2 tsp dry Mango powder (aamchur)
  13. Get 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (optional)
  14. Take to taste Salt
  15. Take 75 gm or 3/4 cup chickpea flour(besan)
  16. Prepare as required Oil to Deep fry

  1. Soak chana daal in water for 4_5 hrs.wash it and Strain all water.Grind it in mixi jar NOT smooth just give 3_4 pulse and grind coursely.There should be whole chana daal also in it.Transfer the paste in a mixing bowl.
  2. To this add chopped green Capsicum, chopped carrot, chopped Coriander, chopped onion,chopped green chillies,ginger garlic paste,crushed pepper corns, crushed Coriander seeds,salt to taste, Coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli Powder, Dry mango powder, Cumin seeds and chick pea flour.Mix well every thing.
  3. Heat oil on Medium flame.Bind the dough to make medium size vada tikkis.From this much dough 9 Vadas can be made. - check oil by dropping little mixture in hot oil.Now deep fry Vadas on Medium to high flame.flip them to other side and fry on low to medium flame till crisp and golden brown.Transfer in a Plate on an absorbent paper to absorb excess oil.
  4. Serve hot,spicy, chatpata,crispy veg daal Vadas with tomato ketchup and green Coriander chutney
