  1. Get 500 gm boiled rice
  2. Get 200 gm peigen gram
  3. Take 1 tsp fenugreek seeds

  19. Take 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
  20. Take 1/2 tsp mustard seed
  21. Prepare Coconut chutney
  22. Make ready 1/2 coconut cut in small peices
  23. Make ready 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  24. Make ready 5 green chillies
  25. Get 1 inch ginger piece
  26. Take To taste Salt
  27. Prepare 1 tbsp lemon juice

Sanna(s), a Goan variant of idli a.k.a. Muday idli is a Mangalorean variant of idli. Rave idli (Sooji idli) is a specialty of Karnataka. Ragi idli - Ragi flour mixed with small portion of Rice flour, black gram.

Instructions to make Idli sambar:
  1. Wash and soak rice and dal at least 6/8 hours or overnight is best
  2. Grind it separately and mix in big bowl
  3. Boil water in steamer grease mould with oil add salt and oil batter mix well fill out and steam 10 min cool it and demould keep it side
  4. Wash and soak dal at least 30 min
  5. Pressure cook dal till done keep aside heat oil in pan add fenugreek seed mustard seed hing and sliced onion saute it till light golden mean while make tomato puree add it in onions mixture cook till oil separate from sides add boiled dal red chilli powder turmeric powder sambhar masala jaggery tamarind pulp boil it for 10/15 minutes
  6. Add all ingredients in mixer jar grind in fine transfer it in bowl add salt and lemon juice
  7. Heat oil in tadka pan add dal cook till light golden add mustard seed splutter it add curry leaves pour it on ready coconut chutney
  8. Serve idli with delicious sambar and coconut chutney it counts full meal coz you get carbs protein and nutrients in one meal
