Steps to make Green peas idli:
  1. Be ready with all the ingredients
  2. In a mixer grind the parboiled peas, green chillies and ginger. Add water only if required.
  3. Add this mixture to Semolina, also add curd.
  4. In a small kadai, heat oil. Once heated add the curry leaves, urad dal and mustard seeds. Saute for a minute.
  5. Pour the tempering on the Semolina batter. Add salt.
  6. Mix the batter properly. Cover it for 10 minutes. Semolina takes up the water so may the batter turns thick.add little water only if required.
  7. Grease a idli mould with oil. Pour the mixture in to the greased mould. Place the mould in the preheated idli stand. Cook for 10 - 12 minutes. Once cooked de mould them.
  8. Serve with tomato chutney.
