Shami kabab is mainly made of beef, split chickpea, eggs, herbs, and loads of spices. All ingredients are grounded together to form a dough-like mixture from which small kababs are rolled out. The kababs are then dipped in egg wash and shallow fried.   1. Boil the lentils with one cup of water until tender but still retain the shape.

  3. Mix with the boiled and cooled Chana lentils and grind in a food processor until fine paste.
  4. Now add chopped cilantro, chopped green chilies and and 1- 2 eggs (depending on the texture of the mixture.
  5. If wet use 1 egg and if dry use 2 eggs) - Mix thoroughly.
  6. Shape the Kebabs and deep fry. - Enjoy….
