Instructions to make Stuffed idli with tomato chutney:
  1. Add one cup suji in a mixing bowl then add dahi. Mix well.
  2. Now add salt as per taste and pinch of baking soda and mix them. Keep the batter to rest for 30 minutes.
  3. In a pan add 1 tsp oil. Add rye, chopped green chilli and grated ginger. Saute well
  4. Add chopped onion. Mix well.
  5. Add mashed potatoes and saute the mixture well. Turn of the gas and leave the mixture to cool down.
  6. Grease the idli stand with oil and pour batter in it and spread it with the help of spoon.
  7. Now add the prepared mixture in the centre of the idli batter.
  8. Add 1 spoon of batter again on the stuffing and press it so that it can spread.
  9. Keep the idlis in microwave at 60% power for 8 minutes.
  10. For chutney
  11. Take a pan add 1 tsp of oil add green chilli, ginger and onion.
  12. Now add tomatoes and saute well.
  13. Once the mixture is soft turn off the flame and let it cool.
  14. Blend in mixture. Add salt and 1 tsp sugar.
  15. Add rye tadka to the chutney and add 1 tsp lemon juice… chutney is ready to serve.
