  2. Mix #1 with butter and salt and rub them with hands until flour into small bits (crumble).

  5. Put the dough in the fridge for 10 min. (if room temperature is high)
  6. Roll the dough about 1.5cm high and cut with cake mold ring (5.5cm)
  7. Egg wash the surface of cut dough.
  8. Preheat oven and bake it at 200C for 15 min. Rotate the tray and bake for another 5 min.

Drizzle warm scones with glaze and serve warm. Add butter and rub in with fingertips until mixture resembles coarse meal. Gradually add buttermilk, tossing with fork until moist clumps form. Remove just the zest (orange part without softer white part) of your orange - I used a paring knife but you don't feel adept enough with one, a vegetable peeler will do. You'll need about half the orange's worth of peel.
