The ingredients needed to make Veg Momos:
  1. Make ready 250 gms refined flour
  2. Get 1 cup Cabbage
  3. Take 1 cup Cauliflower
  4. Prepare 1 cup Capsicum
  5. Get 1 Onion
  6. Get 2 Potato
  7. Get 1/2 cup French beans
  8. Get 1 Beetroot
  9. Get 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  10. Get 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  11. Take 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  12. Prepare 1/2 tsp black mustard seeds
  13. Make ready 1/4 tsp asafoetida and black pepper powder
  14. Prepare 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  15. Prepare 1/2 tsp Kitchen King
  16. Make ready 1/2 tsp Pao bhaji masala
  17. Get 1/4 tsp red chillie powder
  18. Get 2 finely chopped green chillies
  19. Make ready 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  20. Prepare 1 tsp red chilli
  21. Make ready 2 Tomatoes
  22. Prepare 1 tbsp Mustard oil
  23. Take 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  24. Get Salt as per taste and water

The verities meaning, it has different kind of stuffing like meat (chicken, lamb), vegetables, paneer, tofu etc. Today I am sharing the Veg momos recipe. Veg Momos, a steamed or fried dumpling stuffed with mixed vegetables, is a delicious snack food enjoyed in Tibet region. From last few years, Momos are getting very popular in other parts of India and you can easily prepare them at home by either steaming or deep frying.

Instructions to make Veg Momos:
  1. Cut all the veggies as shown in the picture.
  2. Add 2 tbspn of refined oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, green chilliies, red chillie and ginger garlic paste. Fry it until the seeds papaya up. Further, add all the veggies one by one and fry it until they are half cooked. You can cover the pan and cook it as well.
  3. When they are half cooked add all the remaining spices and fry it until they are completly cooked.
  4. After it is cooked, keep it in a bowl and let it cool down.
  5. For the chutney, cut the tomatoes in small pieces. Heat a pan and add 2 tbspn mustard oil in it. Add mustard seeds and let it papaya up. Further add the asafoetida, green chillies and tomatoes. Cook it until the tomatoes start leaving oil. Add 1/2 tspn ginger garlic paste, 1/4th tspn turmeric powder and salt as per taste. Cook it for 2 more minutes.
  6. When done with it, keep it in a bowl.
  7. In a bowl take the flour, add 2 tbspn of refined oil, salt as per taste and Knead it with water to make a fine doe. Keep it aside for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes take the doe and cut it into small pieces as is made for a medium sized puri. With the help of the roller pin flatten the doe round in a size of about 3.5 inches diameter.
  8. Fill the viggies and give it a shape as shown in the picture. You can give the shape of your choice too.
  9. Take all the momos and steam it in a idli maker for about 20 minutes. Once they are cooked, take them out and serve with the chutney.
